Waterproofing your makeup has never been so easy with brands these days creating products that work for every climate and every occasion. When I say every occasion I mean occasions where your most likely to cry, like a wedding where it feels like everyone around you is a blubbering mess.

Any who, brands such as Hourglass and Smashbox have got you covered from primers to lipstick your makeup won't come off until you scrape it off or cover yourself in oil. Sounds like your cup of tea? Then keep reading!

Hourglass Veil Primer

This award winning primer has a cult following because of its redness reducing, sweat and humidity beating, oil controlling properties and all while also being mineral. There is no wonder why people die for this product. I used to use it on every bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride when I freelanced because I knew if any of the bridal party shed a tear, their makeup wasn't going anywhere!

Nars Copacabana Liquid Illuminator

I mix this baby with my primer or foundation to give my skin the ultimate glow. If it is mixed with my base products it becomes waterproof too and there is no need to worry about it moving!

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation

Studio Skin is a 15 hour wear, humidity and sweat resistant foundation made to stand anything you throw at it. It has medium to full coverage but I sheer it out using my beauty blender and heaps of moisture under my primer. Wear if you want super staying power.

Smashbox Studio Skin Concealer

Same deal as the foundation but with more coverage to really hide any redness, pigmentation or dark under eyes of every colour!

Stila Convertible Lip and Cheek Colour

This isn't necessarily waterproof but I feel like Cream blushes wear better than powder when sweat and tears are involved. Powder moves powder and creates tear marks where as Cream just stands alone and takes all the tears.

Hourglass Diffused Bronze Light

I know I said powder isn't good with humidity but this bronzer is more shimmer than pigment and you should not be sweating or crying on your contour anyway!

Hourglass Brilliant Strobe Light

This powder highlight actually looks better when wet! I use a damp sponge to apply it all over my cheek bones! It doesn't budge.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Lid Primer

This eye shadow primer is bomb proof I swear. @makeupbykeeley (follow her if you don't) and I were road testing a few primers to see how they wore on our inner arms all day and this by far won the test. I through soap on it at the end of the day to remove and still managed to have it on!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

This is not waterproof but will not move when used over the top of Shadow Insurance.

Glossier Boy Brow in 'Blonde'

Boy Brow from Glossier is water resistant and keeps my brows in place all day! If i was going to pick one product to wear and know it won't move it would be this.

Urban Decay Cannonball Mascara

One of two products I forgot about when taking these photos.. I'm not the biggest fan of waterproof mascaras but sometimes they are necessary you know? This mascara gives really good length and volume to the lashes and I like it as far as waterproof mascaras go. It does a good job at staying put.

Smashbox Liquid Metal Lipstick in 'Crimson Chrome'

This is also not waterproof but hey I said I was waterproofing your base not everything!

It looks super cool though right?
