Sure, going through a thrift shop can definitely be hit or miss, in my case, most days turn out to be a miss, but I have found some some awesome pieces over the years that I still have to this day.

I recently took my mum and brother op shopping because they love rummaging through old clothing and accessories just as much as I do and we found several really cool band tees and a unique bag. Honestly, bags aren't normally what I look at when I'm in tearing apart an op shop. Normally I run straight for the jackets and jean isles (over worn denim and jackets look the best!) At the present moment I'm still on the hunt for a new/old leather bomber but I'll hopefully find one soon. Though I am getting to the stage wear I might sell my kidney to get the perfect leather jacket (not literally).

Anyway, back to my bag.

I bought this little bronze and sequinned bag at a Redcliffe Salvos for a total of $2! With a price that low and sparkle that bright, I purchased this little number without a second thought. I mean, I was basically stealing the bag for that price!

The moral of this whole story is that thrift shopping can be boring and you can feel hopeless sometimes but when you find old, unique pieces like this little bag, it is all worth it in the end!
