The trend that has been consistent for well over a year and a half isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Highlighting, strobing or whatever you want to call the sparkle you put on the tops of your cheekbones should be an essential step for everyone!

Depending on your style of makeup you have probably dabbled in powder and liquid highlights and maybe even creams but do you ever layer your highlighting products to give you a brighter effect?

You haven't?.....

Well I am about to blow your mind!

Honestly, I am a liquid/cream girl for sure. But one day I just felt like my glow wasn't enough for my dark and under lit work environment (my work friends will totally understand!) It was then that I decided I would layer two of my most impressive highlighters - my Nars Copacabana Liquid Illuminator and The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer for extra wow factor, and to my delight I looked like I had been hit in the face with disco ball and I loved it!

The whole point of this post (if you weren't sure what you were reading) was to let you know that layering highlighters makes a huge difference. One product equals a subtle glow and two products is enough to make a group of girls in the club turn and stare with envy at your luminous face.
